We're Supporting........

2015 Roscoff to Hendaye

On this ride we’re supporting the voluntary work of a totally mad but loveable friend of ours. Howard is working with the Swansea Siavonga Partnership  to provide and install basic computer infrastructure in several rural schools in the Siavonga province of Zambia. Cleverly combining solar panels with the very basic raspberry pi computers he and his team are helping give these children the education that they so desperately need in the modern world. His” fundme” page provides more information and is the place to donate. Thank you.

2014 - The Pilgrims Route
Jim, a very brave, generous and loving man, died this year after a long and determined fight against breast cancer. With the help of our daughter, Marie we raised funds for the charity Breast Cancer Care.  Many Thanks for your support - Alan and Mary

2011 Europe North to South

In our sixty plus years, we have been also very fortunate to have had access to the best medical care and have never suffered the ravages of war, natural disaster or uncontrolled disease. There are many in the world who are not so fortunate. The charity  "Médecins Sans Frontières" ( Doctors without Borders) is an independent humanitarian medical aid organisation which is committed to providing medical aid where it is most needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender and also to raising awareness of the plight of the people they help.

To those who gave their support during our 2012 ride, to this truly worthwhile cause, we would like to say a very personal thank you.
